i blame it on the weather. most people are complaining about how it's too cold while they're sniffing and snotting all over themselves. me? i LIVE for this time of year. i am the mother fucking goldilocks of the seasons- spring is too rainy and muddy - summer is too hot and humid - winter is too cold and that makes my mascara run... fall is my jam. i love the yellow and orange leaves, football, boots and scarves, pumpkin iced coffee, spiked apple cider, fleece blankets, cinnamon-citrus candles, bob dylan, books, cigarettes on a brisk evening, octoberfest beer, sequin blazers, oversized hoodies....
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGSSSS!
anyway, based on the symbiotic relationship between happiness and shopping - i've decided i am in dire need of a new wardrobe to reflect my current state of mind. fall is the beginning of the "giving season" - and nothing says generous quite like buying yourself some new threads.
THE WISHLIST
Indian Coat
This jacket is the cousin of my Indian Poncho - (photo to come) which i am mocked endlessly for by friends and family. My poncho was a $20 purchase, and resembles more of a cape/blanket than an article of clothing. But it's fucking comfortable - so they can all suck one. *edit* Cousin Poncho for your reference.
This jacket, however, i need it. it's that perfect length with that big comfy collar... however, i did recently just purchase my new winter jacket - so this one will have to go on my wishlist from Santa Irene.
Biker Bag
in my closet - i have one huge cult of purses - all of whom go by the name of "betsey." literally. there's something about this woman's bags that just get me all tingly in my nether-regions. it's probably one of the more subdued from her collection, but that doesn't mean i can not worship in it's simplistic beauty. i like the froo-froo meets sons of anarchy thing it has going on. and although i recently purchased my elliott lucca black faux python bag last week - a still can still long for a bag with a bad-boy image.
Garter Tights
this is unfair to even PUT on a wishlist - they're not a wish, they're happening. i pretty much can't make it through the fall without them. Another fabulous find on urban outfitters. i just keep picturing them with low slouchy boots or with some ridiculous closed-toe black patent pumps... they're begging for a micro and a blazer - and our next trip out on the town - i'm going to give them what they long for. *Add To Cart*
the other day i was wearing my "indian cape" and some tight leggings with my over the knee boots - and my mom told me i made Pocahontas look like a prostitute. thus, i have proudly dubbed the look - indian streetwalker.

Oh, not to worry, I can provide a visual of your indian cape...
